The only one of its kind in the industry of desktop videoconference systems, e-works offers the same quality as the dedicated "set top box" systems but at a fraction of their cost and with none of the technical and logistic issues of dedicated hardware.

The audio and video quality is only limited by the Internet connection band availability on participants side and by the quality of the multimedia devices involved: these can be both normal webcams and microphones and high quality devices, such as professional cameras used in conjunction with room audio and video systems in order to achieve telepresence participation standards.

With the "Gateway H323/SIP", e-works can also interoperate with the most widespread standard videoconference systems or with conventional telephone gateways (pstn).

e-works can be integrated within e-learning platforms through a free SDK. For this kind of use, the functions of e-works include management tools for classroom and quizzes.

An e-works Add On is available for the medical teleconsultation facility. Besides the normal audio and video communication functions, this module also allows documents to be shared in the medical format (Dicom format) and also enables the video device to be remote controlled.
