With the "Gateway H323/SIP", e-works v3.9 can also interoperate with the most widespread standard videoconference systems or with conventional telephone gateways (pstn).

e-works v3.9 can be integrated within e-learning platforms through a free SDK. For this kind of use, the functions of e-works include management tools for classroom and quizzes.

An e-works v3.9 Add On is available for the medical teleconsultation facility. Besides the normal audio and video communication functions, this module also allows documents to be shared in the medical format (Dicom format) and also enables the video device to be remote controlled.
