Minimum server hardware requirements
Here follows minimum server specifications in order to satisfy the computation needs of service application:
- Cpu: P4 3 Ghz or equivalent
- Ram: 1 Gb
- 1 free USB port (for the hardware protection dongle)
Minimum server software requirements
Here follows software requirements, which are related only to the operative system of the server:
- MS Windows XP,MS Windows Vista, MS Windows 7, MS Windows Server 2003, MS Windows Server 2008
Minimum server connectivity requirements
The bandwidth required for server side hosting of a meeting depends on the number of participants in the meeting, the type of data they transmit (audio/video/data sharing) and the maximum band defined for each individual transmission flow or "bitrate". Since the connectivity requirements (in both the upload and download modes) are greater than those of the clients, it is advisable to equip the server with broadband access to the Internet (HDSL or fiber).
